13km
By far my favourite walk on the Central Coast. The trail leads to a dramatic skull-like rock formation that sits between two bays, with sweeping views to Lion Island and beyond. Quiet, wild and high above everything. Up 300m and down 300m.

8.5km
A faster, more scrambly way to reach Spion Kop. The red river in the valley between the two ridges is worth the trip on its own. Around four hours. Up 300m and down 300m.

1.7km
A small hidden gem with beautiful views of Spion Kop and other water views. A walk along the rocky ridgeline at the top, then back through rainforest at the bottom. Jam packed with stunning views for such a short walk.

5km
A beautiful walk down to the old water tanks once used to fill the steam trains. You can now swim in them with a waterfall falling on top of you. Best in the morning when the sun is on the east face. Up 70m and down 70m.

5km
The shorter route to the cave. Best for 4WDs, with plenty of rainforest and elevation gain. Finding the caves themselves is a bushbash, so let someone know your plan and allow a full day.

4km
A peaceful 4km return bushwalk along a quiet ridgeline above Brisbane Water. Filtered water views through the trees, birdsong all the way, and a real sense of being away from it all. Up 220m and down 220m.

2.2km
A beautiful, easy bushwalk that is perfect for dogs and their humans. Mostly flat and follows a quiet creek through leafy bushland with little bridges, shady trees and running water.

3km
A quiet 3km bushwalk through a surprisingly lush patch of rainforest in the heart of the Central Coast. Shady, peaceful and full of ferns, palms and trickling creek crossings.

0.5km
A short walk with stunning ocean views on the rock platform at the top. Involves a little climbing. The rock really does look like an elephant. Up 40m and down 40m.

3km
A 3km loop through peaceful bushland to three unique landmarks: Lyre Trig lookout, the Kariong Hieroglyphs hidden in a sandstone cleft, and the towering Guardian Tree, an ancient angophora that exudes peace.

4km
A gentle 4km loop nestled in the bushland above Umina Beach, renowned for its vibrant display of native wildflowers including waratahs, grevilleas and banksias in late winter and early spring. Aboriginal rock engravings depicting a man, a whale and stingrays add a cultural dimension.

4km
A beautiful little dog friendly walk with a little creek the kids will love. Flat and good for beginners, with surprising wildflowers from spring into summer.

1.6km
A lovely short track at just 1.6km return, with plenty of shade, flat ground and peaceful views across Tuggerah Lake. Dog friendly and easy underfoot.
