We're building a library of genuinely useful articles on NSW planning, building compliance and property. If you work in the industry and know something our readers would benefit from, we'd love to publish your writing.
Who we're looking for
Architects, builders, certifiers, town planners, surveyors, conveyancers, property lawyers, BASIX and bushfire consultants, and anyone else who works on getting projects designed, approved and built in NSW. We're a Central Coast practice, so architects elsewhere in the state are collaborators, not competitors. If you've solved a problem our readers keep running into, that's exactly the kind of piece we want.
What makes a good contribution
- Practical and specific. A real process, a real requirement, a real trap people fall into.
- Grounded in NSW rules and how they actually play out, not general fluff.
- Written for owners and industry people trying to get something approved or built.
- Original, and yours to publish.
What you get
- A published article under your name, with a short bio and a link back to your site.
- Exposure to an audience actively working through planning and compliance decisions.
- A genuine working relationship with our practice. We collaborate with good people across the industry, and contributors are the first we think of when a project needs a consultant, a referral, or an architect in another part of the state.
How it works
Send us a short pitch, one or two lines on what you'd like to write about and why our readers would care. If it's a fit, we'll confirm the angle and rough length, you write it, and we'll edit lightly for consistency before publishing.
Pitch us at shea@goodarchitect.com.au.
