Start Point

Brooklyn to Woy Woy Via Little Wobby (16km)

This is one of my favourite walks on the coast, stunning water views throughout, you'll feel like you have the peninsula to yourself. Tank Cove and the Waterfall there is stunning as well.

Elevation change: Up 570m, Down 560m

  1. Start at the ferry terminal at Brooklyn (catch a train to Hawkesbury Station next to it): -33.5461, 151.227477 Google Maps Link

  2. Catch a ferry to Little Wobby, here is a link to the timetable. When you arrive head right (South) the path will weave in and out of yards so please be respectful: -33.54992, 151.249385 Google Maps Link

  3. Continue heading south until you encounter the path: -33.56759, 151.260387 Google Maps Link

  4. Head north along the path, the path is often faint and marked with tape so keep and eye out - this is for experienced bushwalkers: -33.5576682, 151.2547874 Google Maps Link

  5. Continue North, veer right to stay on the track: -33.5547982, 151.252609 Google Maps Link

  7. Horray, you've got to Tank Creek! You can continue along the track to walk to Woy Woy or you can head left to Tank Cove. -33.52621817, 151.25414371 Google Maps Link

  8. This is the top of the cliff line, there is a beautiful view from here with the waterfall over the water, you can also head along the right of the cliffline to find the path down to the beach: -33.52812321, 151.251311 Google Maps Link

  10. Head back up to the path at 7 and continue on the track.

  11. Head left along the Rocky Ponds Fire Trail: -33.52154933, 151.2584996 Google Maps Link

  15. Horay! You've reached Woy Woy Tip: -33.50348870, 151.29195213 Google Maps Link

  16. Continue walking along the road until you get the Woy Woy Station and get a train back (or if you have left your car there then yay! Google Maps Link
