Gap Creek Falls 1.4km return

A 1.4km return rainforest walk featuring ferns, small caves, and a stunning waterfall with pool near the Central Coast.

There is a nearby camping area: Gap Creek Falls Camping Area. This is a beautiful rainforest walk with many ferns, small caves and green walls. There are a lot of stairs, we took our three year old and they were fine, perhaps because its all a bit challenging and whimsical.

Is it a swimming spot? The pool at the bottom was very muddy, nonetheless I was just about to go for a muddy swim when our daughter suddenly acquired a few leeches there and I decided no to the swimming. Its not really about that. We saw a beautiful eel in there as well which was nice. Beautiful walk. Will come back for the falls, not for swimming though.
