Having a catchup and coffee with a friend is that much easier if there is a lot to interest your bub too. Here are a few of the best places on the coast to catch up with a bub in tow. All these cafes are rated above 4.5 stars in google, deservedly so. Most of them have amazing outdoor spaces which is so important when going out with kids and for your mental health as well.

If you are new here with little ones, there is more of this local knowledge in my guide to moving to the Central Coast.

  1. Narara Ecovillage Coffee Cart

Everything we've tried from here has been delicious, there are free baby chinos and best of all there is an amazing trampoline that the kids will love. There are beautiful oak trees above the trampoline and the wrap around verandah is a quiet, soothing place to be. This is not a flash place to be, its quaint and relaxing and that is why I like it so much.

The japanese gardens with their ducks and koi really enchant small ones. This is a more formal restaurant so it is a great place to bring parents or grandparents for special occasions as well. The food is delicious, the gardens are relaxing.
