Terms of sale
These terms cover the digital products sold on this site, currently the build phase checklists. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to shea@goodarchitect.com.au before you buy.
Who you are buying from
You are buying from Good Architect (ABN 66 663 929 182), an architecture practice on the Central Coast, NSW. When these terms say we, that is who they mean.
What you are buying
Each checklist is a digital PDF, delivered instantly. After payment you land on a download page, and the same link is emailed to the address you gave at checkout. The link stays active for 12 months from purchase and allows up to 25 downloads, which is plenty for one project across every device you own. Bundle purchases unlock each checklist in the set from the same link.
Your PDF is generated for you personally and carries your email address as the licence holder.
Your licence
Your purchase gives you a licence to use the checklist for your own project, or a single project you are directly involved in. You can print it, mark it up, and share it with the professionals working on that same project, such as your builder or certifier.
You cannot resell it, republish it, upload it anywhere public, or use it as material for your own commercial products or services. If you would like to license the checklists for business use, ask us.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe directly and are never seen or stored by us.
Consultation credit
Each purchase includes a single use code that credits your purchase price against our $220 Initial Consultation. One code per purchase, valid for 12 months, redeemable only against the Initial Consultation, and it has no cash value. If a purchase is refunded, its code is cancelled.
Refunds
Our digital products come with the guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your checklist is faulty, cannot be downloaded, or is not what its sales page described, contact us and we will fix it, replace it, or refund you, whichever the situation calls for.
Because the product is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds for simple change of mind after the download link has been used. If you believe something is wrong, reply to your delivery email; a real person reads it.
The checklists are guidance, not advice
The checklists are general information drawn from professional practice. They are not architectural, legal or financial advice for your specific site, project or contract, and they do not replace your own certifier, engineer, solicitor or architect.
